Vendor Information
The Department of Information Services (DIS) will be using outside vendors to conduct a Feasibility Study of the technology options available, while they transition into the new State Data Center (SDC). DIS acquires outside Information Technology (IT) resources through the following competitive solicitations:
Requests for Proposals (RFP)
- Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
- Requests for Quotation and Qualification (RFQQ)
- Through the use of Master Contracts
The Feasibility Study will be acquired via an RFP. Future vendor opportunities related to the State Data Center may use one of the above listed solicitation methods. Interested potential vendors should register on the
Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS) site. Effective July 26, 2009, state agencies and higher education institutions must use WEBS as Washington’s common vendor registration and bid notification system.
Most IT acquisitions will also be posted on the DIS TechMall procurement website:
http://techmall.dis.wa.gov/procurement/procure_announce.aspx.
In addition, DIS conducts a “Yearly Refresh” of our
Information Technology Professional Services (ITPS). This gives vendors an opportunity to submit their information and potentially be added to a list of vendors which provide services and products to Washington State. Please contact the Master Contracts Administrator at (360) 902-3374 or via email at
ITPS@dis.wa.gov.
